Golf Magazine ranks long-time PGA professional Brad Faxon as the 5th greatest putter of all time. In 2000, he set record with 1.704 putts per greens in regulation for the entire season, which is the best recorded putting performance by a pro.
Here is Golf Magazine’s stroke analysis: “Faxon sets up with his right side ultra low and with his head angled to the right. It’s not what you would teach, but it’s perfect for him. He’s very natural and target-oriented. When he putts it looks like he’s shooting free throws.”
